The Red Cross's online Bloodborne Pathogens course covers how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure, and what to do if exposed. It also includes information on engineering controls, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene, cleaning/disinfecting equipment, and exposure incident response. The course is designed for those at risk of exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace.
